Strengths:
Experienced pass first point guard floor general. Knows how to locate open teammates out of pick and roll game. Gets in the lane and gives nice lob passes to the roll man. Size allows him to locate open shooters as well. Has great court vision on the move. Can score some left hand pull up jumpers. At times and in some games showed clutch time shooting potential. Not pure shooter but experienced enough to score important jumpers. Had some season with great shooting performances. Season 2018/19 had 38% for 3 points.
Good defensive player. Smart enough. Knows how to anticipate the game. With the years he is getting slower but still showing good defensive impact.
Weaknesses:
Not best shooter. Especially right hand pull up jumpers. As mentioned he is capable shooter but very streaky. Had lot of games with 0% for three on 3 or 4 attempts. He is more passer then creator/scorer. Can drive to the lane but not best finisher. Capable defender but with the years he is getting slower and more fragile.
