PLAY #48: "DUAL DECOY"

3 SECONDS TO WIN

PLAY INTENT

Building on the Play 35 “Seawolves” concept, this SLOB initiates with a simultaneous weak-side flare and back-screen entry to completely distort the defense.

FINAL THOUGHT

Defending one misdirection is difficult; defending two simultaneous decoy screens while communicating through a chaotic paint is nearly impossible. Portland proved this against Detroit. When you overload the defense’s visual processing speed, you don’t just beat their bodies you beat their brains.
